Ratings

Showcase your commitment to your ESG obligations with a
Speeki Rating

Measure, rate, demonstrate

ESG returns are a principal focus for many businesses, as ESG impacts brand and corporate sustainability. Speeki is a world leader in providing ratings and assessments against applicable standards, enabling you to evaluate and demonstrate your ESG performance.

What are Speeki Ratings?

Speeki Ratings are an independent analysis of key risk areas in ESG for better Governance and Compliance, which gives your business policies and systems a quick and effective benchmark against current best practices in governance and compliance on specific topics.

The Speeki Platform allows you to apply for multiple ratings at any time. Our ratings are not for “ESG” as a whole, but rather broken out into separate risk areas that are important to be specifically addressed. No single “ESG” rating can realistically cover all the areas, and companies that are serious about ESG and sustainability in the long run will see tremendous value in obtaining a rating for certain risks and focus areas.

What key risk areas are covered?

Speeki, the market leader in rating and certification, provides three Rating Levels that demonstrate your company’s commitment to the selected Rating Topics. The ever-growing list of crucial areas covered includes: anti-corruption, compliance management, equality and diversity, governance, whistleblowing, transparency and ethical leadership.

What makes Speeki different from other ratings tools?

At the moment other ratings tools address primarily the E and S but not the G of ESG. Speeki Ratings addresses the three equally. The enhanced integration of G ensures a more balanced approach to your ESG initiatives. The product offers organisations the opportunity to analyse their performance in 19 different ESG risk areas.

As part of a broader powerful data set, Speeki Ratings is one of the valuable inputs that allows companies to predict trends within their organisation and act pre-emptively.

Speeki Ratings maps your ESG coverage, challenging you to improve your rating with each renewed assessment.

Your Speeki Ratings depend on the quality of the evidence you provide, which is analysed and processed by risk professionals. We conduct our own independent review and verification of responses and supporting evidence through the use of our proprietary scoring methodology.

How it works

  • Organisations can select one or multiple ratings on various ESG related topics – rate individual topics at your own pace as your organisation matures.

  • Collaborative methodology where organisations can involve staff to complete the rating questionnaire.

  • User-friendly platform and interface for upload and description of responses and evidence.

  • Clear instructions and examples are provided to help you respond to each assessment point.

  • Comprehensive and evidence-based assessment for each rating.

  • Scoring and weighting methodology developed by industry experts (silver, gold, and platinum).

  • Summary analysis of the rating whose content depends on the organisation’s performance and highlights potential strengths and weaknesses in your programme.

  • Ability to showcase your ratings and achievements to your committed stakeholders.

  • Verified and clear guidelines for each requirement or question:

Excellent (E):

Your organisation is mastering the item or topic. The supporting evidence meets or goes beyond recognised best practices.

Satisfactory (S):

The item or topic is addressed and supporting evidence demonstrates comprehensive initiatives. Improvements can always be made; one step away from excellence.

Needs improvement (NI):

The item or topic is addressed, but is either lacking supporting evidence or needs improvement in terms of consistency, formalism, and review.

Not Addressed / Requires Action (RA):

The item or topic and supporting evidence do not fulfil minimum requirements or recognised expectations.

Not Applicable (NA):

The item or topic is not applicable to the organisation.

Process
