An effective compliance programme is the foundation of any well-governed organisation.
This course covers the elements of a best-practice compliance programme: tone at the top and culture, compliance risk assessment, policy and procedure frameworks, training and awareness, third-party due diligence, internal controls, monitoring and testing, investigation and reporting, and programme evaluation.
The course draws on ISO 37301, US Federal Sentencing Guidelines, DOJ/SFO prosecutorial guidance, and FCPA Resource Guide benchmarks. Participants develop the analytical and design skills needed to build or strengthen a compliance programme.
