Human Rights Auditing and Supply Chain Assessment

$18,000.00

Understanding human rights obligations is necessary but not sufficient — organisations must be able to verify that their supply chains meet them. This course develops practical human rights auditing competence: audit programme design for HRDD compliance, risk-based supplier prioritisation, audit preparation and document review, on-site audit execution including worker interview methodology, evaluating grievance mechanism effectiveness, assessing freedom of association and collective bargaining, identifying indicators of forced and child labour, writing findings, and remediation programme design.

The course addresses major human rights audit frameworks and protocols, including SMETA, the CSDDD audit requirements, and sector-specific social audit standards.

Participants conduct extended audit role-play exercises. Suitable for supply chain auditors, procurement teams, ESG assurance professionals, and those leading HRDD programme implementation.
