This course provides participants with a complete understanding of the ISO 14001 standard and the internal auditor skills to assess EMS conformity and performance. The requirements component covers environmental aspects and impacts determination, legal and other requirements, environmental objectives and planning, operational controls, emergency preparedness, and performance evaluation including monitoring, measurement, and management review. The internal auditor component addresses audit planning, evidence-based auditing of environmental processes and controls, evaluating legal compliance, classifying findings, and writing audit reports.
