This course gives participants both the requirements knowledge and internal audit skills to support an effective ISO 45001 management system. The requirements component covers hazard identification, risk and opportunity assessment, legal and other OHS obligations, worker participation and consultation, operational planning and control, emergency preparedness, incident investigation, and performance monitoring. The internal auditor component addresses audit planning for OHS management systems, evaluating hazard controls and risk assessments, worker interview techniques, auditing emergency and incident management processes, and reporting findings that drive safety improvement. Participants complete a simulated OHS audit exercise. Suitable for H&S managers, ESG teams, operational leaders, and OHS internal auditors.
